Three ways to delete your data

You can disconnect an account inside Socialhub, remove Socialhub from your Facebook account, or write to us. All three are described below, and all of them are free.

Disconnect an account in Socialhub

This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.

1. Sign in to Socialhub.
2. Open Settings, then Accounts.
3. Find the Page or Instagram account and choose Disconnect.
4. The stored access tokens for that account are deleted at once and no further messages, comments or analytics are collected for it.
5. To also remove the conversations, media and analytics already stored for that account, use one of the deletion routes below.

Remove Socialhub from Facebook

Removing the app from your Facebook account triggers an automatic deletion request. Facebook calls our deauthorize and data deletion endpoints, we disconnect every account that login had granted, clear the stored tokens, and Facebook shows you a confirmation code and a status link you can check at any time.

1. In Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Settings.
2. Open Apps and websites.
3. Select Socialhub and choose Remove.
4. Keep the confirmation code Facebook shows you; the status link on this site reports the state of the request.

Ask us by email

Write to the support address at the bottom of this page from the email you use with Socialhub.

1. Tell us which Pages, Instagram accounts or workspace you want deleted.
2. We check that you are an admin of that workspace before doing anything.
3. We complete the deletion within 30 days and email you when it is done.

What deletion removes

Access tokens, connected account records, conversations, messages, notes, contacts, uploaded and cached media, and stored analytics for the accounts in the request. Encrypted backups roll off within 14 days, after which no copy remains.

Deletion does not remove anything from Facebook or Instagram themselves. Posts already published and comments already written stay on the platform until you delete them there.

Checking a request

Every automatic request gets a confirmation code and a status page at the address Facebook shows you. Open it at any time to see whether the request is still pending or has been completed.
