Where Telegram draws the line.

Telegram gives bots a lot of freedom, with a few rules. Here they are.

Your bot must be an admin
To post in a channel or group, add your bot as an admin that may post. Socialhub checks, and tells you what's missing.
No channel statistics
Telegram doesn't share channel statistics with bots, so Socialhub doesn't invent them. Tracked short links show you the clicks instead.
48 hours, own messages
Edits and deletes work on messages your bot sent, for 48 hours. That's Telegram's rule, not ours.

How do I connect Telegram to Socialhub?

Create a bot with @BotFather, paste its token into Socialhub, and add the bot as an admin to your channels and groups. The token is encrypted the moment it arrives.

Can I schedule posts to a Telegram channel?

Yes. Text, photos, videos and albums of up to ten items can be scheduled to any channel or group where your bot may post.

Can I edit a Telegram post after publishing?

Yes, within 48 hours of posting, and you can delete it too. For an album, every photo is edited or deleted, not just the first.

Can Socialhub answer chats on my Telegram Business account?

Yes. Connect your Telegram Business account to your bot, and the chats on it arrive in the shared inbox, where your team can answer them.
